Being a military wife means a lot of things: Hardship, Change, Friendship, Loss, Learning, Seperation, Fear, Love and Pride. The roles are many and constantly changing as you go from Air Force girlfriend, to newlyweds, to proud military parent and beyond.
Whatever stage you are in, this meetup understands that you stand behind your Airman 100%, but asks: Who do you have to stand behind you?
This group was formed by an Andrews Air Force Base wife to gather together other Air Force and other military wives for companionship, support, fun activities, and much more!
Who should join?:
All military spouses/girlfriends are welcome but especially spouses in and around Southern MD & VA. Group caters mostly to enlisted spouses in their twenties and early thirties.
Benefits of Joining?:
*Shoulders to cry on during deployments, and seperations.
*Meeting new people with a variety of backgrounds and interests.
*Girls night out occasions, barbeques, ice cream socials, celebrations, and good old fashioned parties to let our hair down every once in awhile.
